I have a farm background on a diversified family farm, and also in transition to organic.  Farm issues have been seriously discussed in my family as long as I can remember, (back to the 1950s).  I’ve worked in both the Family Farm Movement and the Sustainable Agriculture Movement, as member, leader, and staff, over the past 30 years.  Much work remains to be done.
